The Stronger One is the Lord Jesus Christ,
because He was killed, but is alive from the dead!

When you yield your life to Him, Jesus begins to take away the Strong Man's ability to hold your life in bondage.
However, Jesus needs your co operation to bring complete freedom into our lives.

Psalm 149 : 5 and 9 says this:

Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them sing aloud on their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute on them the written judgement.
This honour have all His saints.
Praise the Lord!

The saints referred to here are believers who are actively yielding their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

(In the Bible, Saints are NEVER dead people,
because the Bible says that the dead cannot praise God.)

The ways in which we overcome the Strong Man are listed here for us:
Singing aloud,
High praises,
the Two-edged Sword of the word of God.

In the day in which the Psalmist lived, their enemies were literal live people.
In the days in which we live, the Apostle Paul tells us that our enemies are not people of flesh and blood, but instead they are Principalities,   Powers,   Rulers of the Darkness of this World,   and Spiritual Wickedness in Heavenly Places (Ephesians 6 : 12)

So we are to do what Psalm 149 says, not to people,
but instead to our spiritual enemies, of which the Strong Man is the main one.
This is only done in prayer.

The Psalm says that ALL BELIEVERS have the honour of praying this way.

This means several things:
First, that you need to be a believer in order to pray this kind of prayer over your life.
